Designermite is a collective of Artisans united in forming a Designer Art Collective brought together for their love and passion, desire and determination to continue to strive for excellence in rendering art and graphics in many different mediums.

Physically located in the Northern Virginia area, Maryland and Washington, D.C. area but also cyber linked throughout the world via the Internet. Musicians, Fine Art and Graphic Artists, Sculpturers , Welders and many others now present these skills and are now being offered to meet public need.

So what can Designermite do for you? Designermite has the history of being involved in Signs and Designs Graphic Arts for over 35 years which naturally allows Designermite to have been involved in a bit of everything, a visual buffet of services.

From Vinyl Pinstriping, Vinyl Decals, Banners, Truck lettering, Auto lettering, Auto graphics, Vinyl Lettering for Store Front Windows and Walls, Logo Design for business companies and Artists of Music Bands and everyday folk.

We have a experience of 25 years of Screen Printing (some call it Screen Printing, Screen-printing, Screenprinting, silkscreen, and serigraphy) has allowed it to refine those techniques and skills to cross apply to other mediums and techniques which has allowed us to: Decals, Textiles, T Shirts, Banners, Posters and Trade Show Booths. I screenprinted on the human body in the early seventies before it was fashionable.

Designermite has done Harley Davidson Art Prints, Pen and Ink Drawings, Triumph Art Prints, T Shirts, Jimi Hendrix Prints, advertising and promotion, letterhead, Decals, Desktop publishing (DTP), and involvement in the Rock and Roll and Blues Community.

I have personally been into old school graphic arts and design for over 35 years plus. Extensive screen printing (silk screen) for over 25 years. Signs making was what I cut my teeth on early in my youth in the 1970s.

We obviously have a website http://designermite.net/ where we post old works...the newer graphic works and in progress design projects will soon make there way up there. We have been way, way too busy to redesign the site as our time goes into artwork but that will catch up.

Last few years Designermite has been heavily leaning toward digital art with programs such as Corel Painter X, Adobe CS3 Master Collection, Corel Draw (since it's infancy) Gerber Edge & Plotter using Omega and Gerber Advantage 6.0 Premier software and many, many others.

We do own and work with Gerber Advantage 6.0 Premier and Omega software with Gerber HS/15 PLUS plotter creating vinyl graphics and logos that you might see on store windows, car, truck and van lettering. So Designermite does have a working knowledge of the basic skills needed in our home based shop.
